Vintage "Tri-Lite" Adjustable Gooseneck Desk Lamp by Eagle

c. 1950s-1960s; Eagle Electric Manufacturing Co. - Long Island City, NY

Compact adjustable desk lamp featuring a textured brown metal finish, flexible brass-tone gooseneck arm, and conical shade. Manufactured by Eagle Electric as part of their Tri-Lite series, the lamp incorporates a three-position light control operated by the original pull-tab switch located at the base. The sculptural cone shade and sweeping gooseneck reflect the streamlined industrial styling common to mid-century task lighting, while the compact footprint makes it suitable for desks, workbenches, bedside tables, and reading nooks.

Shows moderate age-related wear throughout. Painted metal surfaces exhibit scattered scratches, abrasions, finish loss, oxidation, and accumulated patina. Brass-tone gooseneck shows age-related discoloration and wear consistent with use. Felt bottom exhibits wear, loss, and deterioration around the perimeter. Original manufacturer's label remains partially intact and legible. Pull-tab switch and all light settings function properly at the time of cataloging. Includes bulb.
